NDZINGENI MP Lutfo Dlamini informed residents of Mkhiweni that they will never realise sustainable development as long as they keep changing MPs every five years.

He said the trend in Mkhiweni was that an MP is not re-elected, noting that such hindered development because they always have a new individual in office. "My advice is start now and prepare to retain the current MP because he is a hardworking individual who will bring development to the area if given a chance. I am happy that you are all here which shows that you support Masuku, continue doing so if you want to see good results. As MPs, we will also support him and make sure he delivers. We have been elected at a critical time when government is broke but with your support, he will be able to deliver despite the economic challenges faced by government. We congratulate him and wish him well as he assumes office as your representative,” said Dlamini, speaking on behalf of MPs and senators present.

The legislators pledged to build a house for one elderly person who would be chosen by the people of Mkhiweni. “Once you have identified a deserving elderly person, MP Masuku will tell us, then we will come back and build the house," the Ndzingeni MP said.
