MBABANE – The father of the child Thobile is c a r r y i ng i s a l l e g e d l y unknown.

When the aunt was probed on who the father of the child was, she said even with the unborn baby being a month away from being born, they did not know who the father was.

The aunt said she could not get Thobile to reveal the man responsible for impregnating her, despite asking her. The aunt claimed that Thobile told her that she did not seem to know.

“I t r i e d s o h a r d t o a s k h e r about the father of the baby, but

I could not get anything out of her. She does not even know herself who the father is,” said the aunt.

The aunt said she suspected o n e o f t h e Mvut j i n i k o mbi conductors because she always received reports that Thobile hung around them a lot. However, she claimed that she was always vigilant with the childr en when t hey went out or who they befriended.

“This is just proof that you can never be too careful enough with children. I always kept an extra eye on her and the others especially because of COV

ID- 19, but even then she fell pregnant,” the aunt said.

When asked who was responsible for the child, Thobile also shared that she was unaware of who the father of her child was. She was requested to comment with the permission of her aunt.

Nonetheless, she agreed t o have had s exual i ntercourse with an older man and claimed t hat t hey were dating. When asked who this man was, her response was scanty.

“It was my boyfriend from t o wn, we wer e d a t i n g f o r a l o n g t i me. I t o l d h i m a b o u t the pregnancy when I saw my s t omach get big but t hen he disappeared,” said Thobile.
