M– H e i s a Mbabane Highlanders patron. It is on that premise that the black and white capital city giants have come out to issue a statement of compliments to the new Prime Minister ( PM) of Eswatini, Cleopas Sipho Dlamini. The latter served in the team’s patrons structure.
Highlanders patron and the team’s director Chief Ally Kgomongwe’s right- hand man in the country Benson Dlamini explained that the newly- appointed PM was a long- time patron of the great club.
“On behalf of Mbabane Highlanders Patrons, Managing Director Chief Ally Komongwe, Management Committee, National Supporters Committee, players and supporters we congratulate our patron Cleopas Sipho Dlamini for being appointed the new Prime Minister of the Kingdom of Eswatini,’’ Benson wrote in the club’s statement.
The new PM was appointed last week Friday at the national cattle byre by His Majesty King Mswati III.

“As a team we feel honoured for the King to recognise you as the right person to head the country’s government. On that note we say Bayethe Wena WaPhakathi,” the statement read in part.
Dlamini further said they prayed that God granted the PM wisdom and energy as he leads the country.
“Congratulations Mlangeni, Mbabane Highlanders is happy about your appointment and we promise to support and pray for you as one of our patrons,’’ the Mbabane Highlanders patron said.
Meanwhile, the new PM steps in after Ambrose Mandvulo Dlamini who passed away in December last year due to COVID- 19 related illness.
