Dear anonymous, I can only imagine how that feels like. I think most couples go through this stage of familiarit­y then tend to take each other for granted. It’s quite common actually, you can bring back the spark but both of you need to put in the work; it shouldn’t be a one way street. Speak to your husband and tell him how you feel. Start with the easy things like date night and commit to it every week. Call him and he must call you during the day; not to remind each other about bills but just to find out about the day. Set time just for a cup of tea and catch up about the day. Slowly it will be a lifestyle and work on reconnecti­ng with your spouse. Marriage is work, most couples turn to relax after getting married, when actually that’s when the real work starts.
