Upmarket lounge, bar for Pigg’s Peak
PIGG’S PEAK – Soon, folk in northern Hhohho will not have to travel far for upmarket entertainment.
A fullyfledged entertainment lounge, which is nestled between Matsamo and Pigg’s Peak, is almost complete. It is situated near an area known as Vusweni.
The lounge is called Zhumiao Bar and Lifestyle Lounge, which in Chinese means ‘a place of entertainment’.
Businessman Lucky Ngubane, who has invested in the construction of the lounge, said his intention was to provide entertainment for locals so that they did not have to travel to far places to experience an upmarket kind of entertainment.
He said so far, the first phase of the lounge had been completed.
Ngubane said it consisted of a bar and an outside sitting area. One of the sections also has a butchery which supplies different kinds of meat.
Rooms
Ngubane said the first phase of the lounge also consisted of 10 bed and breakfast rooms and that his intention was to have 25 rooms. “This will mean that people can stay over after drinking without having to drive and risk getting arrested,” he said.
Ngubane said the final phase would consist of swimming pools and secluded entertainment sections for children.
“Children will not be left out as there will be games as well,” he said.
The businessman said the lounge would also consist of a gym to promote fitness where people would be comfortable spending the whole day.
Ngubane said he decided to keep the lounge outside the urban area to provide a getaway for people who did not enjoy the noise in town.
He said some of the equipment which would be placed in the lounge was very expensive and that it had not arrived yet. The businessman said this included a heating system for swimming pools so that they could be used even in winter.
Yesterday, when the lounge was visited, builders were already on site still adding on to the other amenities. They were constructing the last phase of the lounge, including more rooms. Though the lounge is yet to be complete, members of the public were already making use of the services, especially those from surrounding areas such as Buhleni and Pigg’s Peak. Meanwhile, as part of the entertainment at the soon to be launched Zhumiao Bar and Lifestyle Lounge, cage strippers will also provide some entertainment though strictly for adults.
Ngubane said the entrance to the strip club would be strictly by barcode.
He said barcodes would be provided so that only adults would be allowed to enter.
The businessman said this would be one of the many services to be provided by the bar and lifestyle lounge.
He said the strippers would be in cages hence the name cage strippers. However, Ngubane said the lounge would provide more entertainment than just cage strippers. He said food lovers would also be catered for as there was an inhouse restaurant.
