Smallz signs new management deal

MBABANE – Comedian Smallz is on the verge of opening a new chapter in his career.

This comes as the comedian has bagged a management deal with STQ Media which is one of South Africa’s best talent management agencies based in Johannesbu­rg, South Africa.

The news came at a time when the artist has been performing well despite the setback he encountere­d around June this year as he faced rape allegation­s. His former manager Nhlanhla Ngwenya confirmed this with the entertainm­ent desk as he said, “In the midst of uncertaint­ies, it gives us great pleasure to confirm the great news that our own Lungelo ‘Smallz the Comedian’ Gina has bagged a management deal with STQ Media, one of South Africa’s best talent management agencies based in Johannesbu­rg. As it is known, Smallz is one of the most talented comedians in the country who broke into the comedy space through the LOL comedy competitio­n and won the hearts of many emaSwati.”

He went on to say, “It gives us joy that the artist has achieved quite a lot under the management of the Merchants of Bottomless Laughter, and he dominated the industry and through all storms he had emerged victorious.”

Smallz remains one of the top comedians in the country as he is one of the most followed figures on social media, with over 580 000 followers on Facebook. In the same breath, the comedian is also one of the top YouTubers in the country with over 56 000 subscriber­s.

In the country, he has worked with so many corporate entities and succeeded well delivering the best to clients. From video clips, comedy skits, TV ads, voice-overs, brand influences, and many others. His artistic skills and jokes have always given endless laughter to fans in the entertainm­ent scenes.

He has greatly worked in collaborat­ions with so many artists in the country, with the massive success he was part of the ‘People National Tour’ in 2019, a comedy movement by the Merchants of Bottomless Laughter which took comedy throughout the country even to the most remote arrears. competitio­n.
