Eswatini face Moz in last WT20 match
MBABANE – Eswatini women’s cricket national team will face neighbours Mozambique in the last group stages match this morning in the Africa Qualifier to the ICC Women’s T20 World Cup 2023.
The Eswatini team has lost all their four games in the group stages and they will be looking to get a first win against neighbours Mozambique, who is also struggling in Group A.
Eswatini played against Tanzania on Tuesday morning and they were again beaten by higher runs as the Tanzanian won the match by 256 runs.

Meanwhile, Zimbabwe is on top of group A with eight points in four matches while Tanzania and Rwanda are second and third with six points.
Host Botswana are in danger of missing the chance to go in the knockout stages as they are fourth with just four points, Mozambique and Eswatini remain at the bottom of the log with zero points each.
The ICC Women’s T20 World Cup Africa Qualifier supported by Dream 11 is two steps away from the World Cup on the road to South Africa 2023.
Eswatini is in Group A alongside the hosts Botswana, Mozambique, Rwanda, Tanzania, and Zimbabwe.
Cameroon, Namibia, Nigeria, Sierra Leone, and Uganda are in Group B in the 11-team tournament. The Eswatini team will face Mozambique on Thursday at 9:15am.
The top two teams from each group will play in the semifinals, before the two finalists compete for the lone qualification spot to the Global Qualifier 2022, on September 19.
