Khulile Thwala
Previously: I worked as a chief proof-reader at Times of Eswatini.
Currently: Trainee News Reporter at Times of Eswatini.
Job description: I gather news and information to keep the public informed about important events. I gather and assemble this info to be relayed to the public.
Secret to Success: Hard work, dedication and focus leads to a successful life. The harder you work for something, the greater you will feel when you achieve it.
Sincumo Innocent Dlamini
Previously: I was a Content Specialist at Yati Media.
Currently: I am a Freelancer in Sales and Marketing Communications at Redmark Digital, Ekhayaketfu Waterless Car Wash and Go North Creative House. I’m also a founder, manager, sales and marketing communications director of Grade A Investments.
Job description: To promote the business, products/services by making sure that the company is communicating the right message to attract prospective customers.
Secret to Success: As a believer, my deepest secret is fervent prayer and hard work.
Menzi Nkuna
Previously: I worked at Sundowners Lodge as a bar man.
Currently: I work for city council under Eswatini parking as a parking inspector.
Job description: Patrol assigned areas and issue parking infringement notices to owners of vehicles that are illegally parked. Issue fines when cars have exceeded maximum parking times or are parked illegally.
Secret to Success: Coming together is a beginning; keeping together is progress; working together is success. Self-belief and hard work will always earn you success.
Lindokuhle Khanyinji
Previously: I worked at the Corner Plaza Superspar. Currently: I work at the Family Store in Mbabane industrial site as a merchandiser.
Job description: Responsible for ensuring that the right amount of goods are available in store and are being sold at the right price. It also includes stocking shelves, arranging and maintaining product displays, pricing products, and monitoring the store inventory.
Secret to Success: Prayer, trusting God that whatever you ask he will surely do for you. Be patient as it gives the best results.
Mlandvo Lukhele
Previously: I recently graduated from Limkokwing University with an Associate Degree in International Tourism.
Currently: I am an assistant manager at Carters Garden Centre.
Job description: Monitor and maintain store inventory management, taking orders, marketing and to ensure stores effective operation and that we keep our customers happy.
Secret to Success: Determination, as a young person know what you want and don’t give up. Keep your dreams alive. Understand to achieve anything requires vision, hard work, determination, and dedication.
Hlengiwe Dlamini
Previously: I’ve been a B. Com degree student at Regent Business School. Coupling it with being a make-up artist and nail technician.
Currently: I am a Head chef at the newly opened Flex Cafe. Concurrently completing my B.Com degree as well as being a make-up artist and nail technician during my spare time. I also do events management.
Job description: Responsible for all meals at Flex Café. I am also a food quality controller and kitchen operations manager.
Secret to Success: Always put your all in everything you do and never give up.
Jenevane Shabalala
Previously: I was self-employed as an Electrician. Currently: I am working for Bidvest Steiner as an in-house Electrician.
Job description: Install, maintain and repair electrical control, wiring, and lighting systems. Executing plans of electrical wiring for well functioning lighting, intercom and other electrical systems
Secret to Success: Self empowerment through short vocational courses. Doing vocational courses is key to eliminate the rate of unemployment.
