8 get tickets to next Spotlight
MBABANE – Five ladies and three males have been awarded Y’ello tickets into the next round of the MTN Spotlight-Made Brighter competition.
This means to date there are 27 participants who have been granted Y’ello tickets to the next stage of Eswatini’s biggest talent search competition as on the first episode 19 bagged the tickets.
The eight participants were part of over 20 others who competed on Week three of the digital auditions that were judged by Velemseni Ndzimandze, Ndumiso Dlamini and Khulekani ‘Karly B’ Mamba on the episode that aired this past Sunday.
Of the eight there is also a 16yearold girl from Mbabane who made it to the next stage.
The next stage is called the Canary Day where they will compete live in order to make it to the next stage of Season three. The exact dates of the Canary Day will be announced soon.
Congratulated
MTN Eswatini Brand Communications and Sponsorship Manager Landokuhle Dlamini confirmed the list and congratulated the eight for making it to the next stage.
“The competition was quite close this past weekend and we are excited by the amount of talent that is being unearthed by the show. We encourage those who did not make it to keep pursuing their careers as they also have some talent and those who did make it to start preparing for the next stage,” she said.
This Sunday the show will feature the last batch of applicants from Week four.
