- BY CHRIS DLAMINI

MBABANE – Registration of teams and players in the Manzini Regional Pool League has been opened for the upcoming 2021/22 Dixie’s International Pool League and Knockout.

Following the new MRPA Executive Committee meeting in Malkerns, St. John Bosco Primary School, last Saturday registration was expected to start as of this past Monday until the end of next month.

“We have two teams that will be joining us for now and its Ludzeludze 2 and Ntondozi. Registration for new teams is E1 000 while returning clubs will pay E800 via Mobile Money to the MRPA Treasurer Thulani Dlamini at 7658 4065.

“Teams can now register players until October 31, 2021. We also request all clubs to order their uniform from Dixie’s International as we want to avoid sharing of shirts,” MRPA Secretary

Musa Dlamini said in a press release yesterday.

Meanwhile, Royal Eswatini Police Service (REPS) Pool Club are the reigning league champions while Figaredo won the knockout. Dixie’s International pumps E40 000 into the region for the last two editions, the first being E20 000.

The package will not be changing going into the fourth edition and will remain E30 000 for the league and E10 000 for the knockout.
