Korean Mission donates 100 food hampers to DPM’s Of ice

MBABANE- The Korean Mission presented 100 food hampers to the Deputy Prime Minister’s Office which were received by Deputy Prime Minister Themba Masuku .

The hampers included a 10kg bag of rice, cooking oil, sugar and tinned foodstuff.

Presenting the hampers was Senior Pastor of the Korean Church in Eswatini, Chang, Han Gie Kim and Hanna Kim.

Accepting the donation, Masuku extended his appreciati­on to the Korean Mission.

He said it was not the first time the mission had extended a helping hand to emaSwati as they had been doing so since the beginning of the COVID-19 pandemic.

He said the hampers were to be given to different kinds of people in need which included people with disabiliti­es, the chronicall­y ill, child-headed families and the elderly.

“We are grateful to Pastor Chang and his team for the hampers as they have helped a great deal especially during this time when the time the country is dealing with COVID-19.

“To share with the DMP’s Office what you have put together to assist the less privileged is inspiring. You also have been of great assistance to the children in the safe house,” said Masuku.
