M– The Black Bull is not concerned about the news that their director Chief Ally Kgomongwe is stepping down.

This was disclosed by Skipper Sabelo ‘Sikhali’ Ndzinisa yesterday during a pre-match conference between Mbabane Highlanders and Moneni Pirates at Sigwaca House.

‘Let me put it clear that as Mbabane Highlanders players we are not affected in any way about what is happening, because our job is to play,” Ndzinisa said.

He said what was happening in the team was between the team’s Patrons and the director and if ever there was anything that they had to know, they would have been officially informed by now.

“We’re currently in the dark. We only see in the newspapers. I hope with time everything will be fine if there is something wrong in the team,” he said.

He also said he was not under pressure after not scoring in the last two games that they had played, since the team was scoring in each and every match.

Score

“Yes I am one of the players who are expected to score for the team, but even I can’t be scoring every day. What makes me happy is that the team is able to score and if it wins we are sorted,” he said.

His Coach Ernest Mavuso shared the same sentiments.

“We are going to play a tough game because we are playing another good team. They are from a draw but if you are following them, you will know that they play good football,” Mavuso said.

He also said he was looking forward to a good game but only prayed for more goals from his side. Meanwhile, Pirates mentor Gcina Dlamini said they were motivated by the way Highlanders were playing these days.

“It seems as if Highlanders ‘wagon’ is heading to Jerusalem this season and we don’t want to be counted as being part of it when it reaches its final destination,” Dlamini said.

He said they had prepared very well for the Black Bull so even if Highlanders won the league this season, Pirates would not have contributed any points.

He further said he was spoilt for choice as all his players were available for selection and the team that would face Inkuzi’emnyama would be the best while assistant team captain Lwazi ‘Shumi’ Mamba said they would count on being hosted at home by Highlanders.
