Zakwe, Duncan to rock Eswatini
MBABANE – South African hip hop acts Zakwe and Duncan have vowed to make it up to their local fans at Mhlume Country Club.
7his will be at an event dubbed *rand Saturdays a family fun day event hosted by 8pscale /ive. 7he last time the pair was booked to perform in the country was during the *rand Saturdays that was hosted at Spin City Siphofaneni but they ended up not honouring their invite.
7he show was hosted by Sibusiso µ 7’ Simelane as it also coincided with S:A0A award winning art ist /yrikal Busta and Sean Cast’s µ3rayers of a +ustler’ 32A+ al bum.
Performance
0any fans had anticipated to watch the pair perform but were met with disappointment as news of the pair not coming started circulating on social media. 7he South African artists ended up not performing after receiving threats from social media users. ,t is worth noting that this oc curred while the political tensions in the country were still high.
+owever 8pscale /ive has assured +ip +op lovers and the public at large that the pair will be performing at 0hlume Country Club.
Confirming their performances on January both artists con firmed that they would be performing on the day. ,n an interview with this publication Duncan said ³Yebo Baba on the January make sure you are at 0hlume Country Club as , will be performing alongside Zakwe. Kuzobe kukhala into ecak’usaytjeni raaaaa!”
Zakwe also said ³/ast time we couldn’t honour our booking but this time around make sure you’re at 0hlume Country Club as its going to be a family fun day from am till pm. 0ake sure that you pull through as , will be on stage along side Duncan.´
Album
7he pair is currently promoting their joint album titled µDuncan and Zakwe’. 7hey will be performing the joint album together for the first time in the country.
