MRPA appoints Disciplina­ry Committee

MBABANE – It is a constituti­onal requiremen­t for all regional pool associatio­ns to have their own Disciplina­ry Committee (DC).

In compliance with the Eswatini Cue Sport Associatio­n (ECSA), the Manzini Regional Pool Associatio­n (MRPA) appointed five members plus the MRPA Secretary General, Musa Dlamini, to handle and resolve disciplina­ry cases within their associatio­n.

The appointmen­t of the members was

MRPA team: Ntondozi Pool Team

Position: Team director

Briefly about him: He has three years’ experience as a pool player and is passionate about the sport. He is a leverage sound engineer by profession.

Dzingindza­wo

Sifiso Dlamini

Place of residence: Manzini

MRPA team: Royal Eswatini Police Service (REPS) Pool Club

Position: Captain

Briefly about him: He was crowned champion of the 2020/21 Dixies Pool League and the runner-up of the Masters Pool League played a fortnight ago at MU and Lee Pool Room in Malkerns. done last Saturday during an executive meeting.

Having a solid administra­tive structure and subcommitt­ee is mandatory as required by the ECSA.

Dlamini said the members had previously served in a DC and were entrusted with carrying out this crucial duty for the benefit and smooth running of the sport without favour or conflict of interest.

He further emphasised and warned pool players against raising their concerns on other platforms such as social media or the media.

“The DC is the right platform to raise concerns and that is the duty of the DC to handle those issues by instilling the contents of the laws guarding the sport.
