MBABANE - The winner of the ‘Boss of the Road’ 1st Edition will take home E10 000.

This was confirmed by Obsession Motorsport Eswatini (OME) which is the organiser for the eYent.

OME President Terence Rudd said all prizes for the street race had been secured.

Besides the E10 000 prize, Rudd said the winner would also receiYe a trophy plus bragging rights which he or she would hold for three months until the ne[t eYent. Rudd said they were grateful to the sponsors who had come on board and these included SERE& Radio, Star Paint, Techtool, +ub +ardware, Global Signs, Southern Star, Elcor and Emlembe.

+e mentioned that engagement­s with other potential sponsors were ongoing.

On another note, spectators and car enthusiast­s will also be drawn to side attraction­s in the form of a food court, flea market stall, kiddies play area, show and shine classic car area, 9,P marTuee for inYited guests and sponsors and a surprise lunch interYal demo.

³The public at large is encouraged to attend in their numbers as there will be a police presence and security on the ground to ensure public order and safety. Marshalls will be deployed around the circuit to ensure race rules are adhered to at all times. $ speed trap will be de ployed on the return road to the pits. The following haYe been brought on board to ensure the safety and success of the eYent,´ said Rudd.

$ racing license fee for the eYent costs E300 (limited to 32 entrants) while the spectator’s entrance fee will cost E150 for adults and E80 for kids. )or small and medium enterprise­s, a stall is priced at E150.
