Mad rush for derby tickets
MBABANE – There was a mad rush for the Mbabane derby tickets when they went on sale yesterday at 2pm.
The 2 000 tickets were made available yesterday at 2pm at Futis outlets. There were queues in Mbabane and Manzini as fans rushed for the tickets at exactly 2pm.
Over 30 supporters bought the ticket in a space of 10 minutes in one of the outlets in Mbabane while a long queue was reported at Bhunu Mall, Manzini.

Some of the fans said they did not want to take a chance of waiting to buy the tickets later as they were limited.
Each ticket is sold at E50 since Sunday will be a double header at Mavuso Sports Centre.
First to take centre stage on Sunday is the match between Manzini Wanderers and Green mamba while the derby between Mbabane Highlanders and Swallows will start at 3pm.

“I couldn’t miss this game for anything. I knew that the 2 000 tickets to be sold were never going to be enough so I had to make sure that at 2pm, I am right at the door at Futis for my ticket. Sunday the score will be 2-1.

We have experienced players who can win the game for us and those players include our Captain Tony ‘TT’ Tsabedze who always excels in derby matches. I have to get my ticket early to avoid disappointment. Swallows will win 2-0.
Temahlanti Lukhele (M. Swallows) The derby it’s one game that we can’t afford to lose. I’m happy that the team is now playing better and I believe we will win 2-0. I was scared that it would be difficult to buy the ticket but I’m happy now because I have it in my hand.
Futhi Dlamini (M. Highlanders) Mbabane Swallows will be surprised. They must not read much into the loss against Vovovo FC as there were lot of complications on that game. This is a derby and we have been waiting for it. All I wanted was my ticket. Sikhali and Ben 10 will score the needed goals.
Mzilikazi Khumalo (M. Swallows)
We have to stop Sikhali as he is one of the dangerous strikers. I believe that our defenders are preparing for him and he cannot pass Baba-Seidou Blandja. Mbabane Swallows will win 3-0 on the day.
Sifiso Mkhonta (M. Highlanders) PLE should have requested an increase in the numbers. There are lots of people who want to go and watch the derby but they won’t get tickets. I told myself that I will be the first to buy the ticket as I want to be part of the big game in the country.
