MILLING HOT SPURS VS MANZINI SEA BIRDS AT KA-LANGA TECHNICAL CENTRE (3pm)

M– It has been quite a good spell in the last four matches for Milling Hot Spurs, who before then, had just managed no win but went to Nhlangano at the King Sobhuza II Memorial Stadium and edged rookies Rangers 1-0 to record their first of the season.

Since then, they have not shed any tears due to defeat, but went on to celebrate a 3-0 victory over well performing Tambankulu Callies this season. After that, Milling played a goalless draw with Vovovo, who returned this season from the MTN National First Division League while last weekend, it was 1-1 with Tambuti, who are still winless in 11 games of 15 in the first round.

The four-game defeat-less run took Milling from deep in the bottom four, where they had only two points to position 12 with 10 points.

Non-losing

Can they continue with this non-losing streak or even better, the previous two results against a rampaging Manzini Sea Birds who know a lot is at stake for them this season – they are minnows by status but on the pitch, they have been mixing with the big boys who are doing well while some started badly and are playing catch up.

The summit is at stake with just four matches to the first round incentive of E200 000 for the team to finish at the top. Currently, defending champions Royal Leopard sit on top with 25 points; Mbabane Highlanders are second with 24 points while Sea Birds are third with 23 points.

Leopard had their match-day 12 against Young Buffaloes suspended as they are leaving for Algeria to honour their pending TOTALEnergies CAF Confederation Cup
