M– A young man with big dreams.

If you believe in your dream, you won’t rest until you fulfil it and that is exactly what pushes 21-year-old Lindokuhle Malindzisa in his bodybuilding journey. The self-motivated Form III (3) pupil’s growth has not only been physical, but mental and spiritual. Brace yourself for another inspirational story that can also help you chase your own body goals. Here is what he had to share;

Lindokuhle Malindzisa aged 21 years from Nhlangano.

Name:

“I am a student at Ngwane Central High School at Zombodze Emuva in Nhlangano. I am doing Form III.”

“I gained 10kg muscle mass and built defined muscles. I weighed 70kg when I started and now I am 80kg.”

Occupation: Transformation: Why did you choose bodybuilding out of all other sports?

“I started doing bodybuilding when I was 17 years old in 2018. Growing up, I was always fascinated by muscular guys. My

the sport. I need to train like a soldier while I pursue my studies then when the right time comes, I will be fit and ready.”

Tell us about the physical and health improvements you have experienced so far?

“My strength and endurance gets better by the day. I have built visible muscles and gained mass. Exercising refreshes the mind so it helps me to improve in my academic work now that we are back in school and preparing for exams. “

Do you stick to a specific diet or nutrition plan?

“I have done certain adjustments with my eating habits. Before I started training, I loved to eat a lot of sweet stuff, but not anymore. I made a lot of changes in 2020 when I learnt more about bodybuilding nutrition. So, now I eat healthy and nutritious food so that I can achieve the body I dream of.”

What challenges do you face as a young bodybuilder?

“My challenge as a bodybuilder is that I’m still schooling and I need to balance the time for my training session and school work. I don’t have enough time to train during school days. Once I finish school and fulfil my dream to join the military, I will have enough time to train and become one of the best bodybuilders of all time.”

What can you say to some ladies who strongly believe that bodybuilding is strictly for men?

“Fitness has no specific gender. Even ladies train to keep their bodies healthy and strong. Interestingly, the number of women who are into bodybuilding is increasing in the country.”

Any message for young bodybuilders who face similar challenges like you sometimes do?

“My advice to young bodybuilders is that they must not give up on training and one day their wishes will come true.”
