Sir,
I remember the Lord God Almighty one early morning saying to me He is sweeping. He said He was doing the sweeping Himself instead of assigning servants because they have fattened their hearts with the love for money. They can no longer see anything wrong in their actions and those of oppressors because they have taken the garbage that is being swept by the Lord into their beds of comfort. They sleep on garbage very comfortably. Deception, corruption and unclean money make their bed.
Church leaders are the main reason this country is at war with itself. They mislead everyone. Among other things, the country is experiencing chiefdom squabbles that have robbed most of the country’s stability and prosperity, all thanks to church leaders. They have divided the nation from grassroot level. They have had people fight battles they had nothing to do with. These are the same leaders who squeeze their Holy Bibles under their armpits every Sunday and mount pulpits to preach and teach that which is not in their hearts. Their actions speak much better about them than the words of their mouths. Why really would Eswatini be in the current unhappy state if some church leaders were not rotten to the core? What really is being Christian?
The country has not reached the pulpit of Africa status because of corrupt practices encouraged by church leaders. They stand together in supporting darkness, yet they should have been the light of the world. This is really a sad time for the country of Eswatini. Church leaders, please return to righteousness and unite the nation. Guide the nation according to God Almighty’s commands indiscriminately. Stop involving yourselves in idol worship and stop embracing falsehood. Take a leaf from Shadrach, Meshach and Abednego who never bowed down to Nebuchadnezzar’s statue even though a death penalty hung on their heads for defiance. Do a self-introspection to determine where you stand with the truth. Money is temporary, hell is eternal. Loving money above the Lord God Almighty leads one straight into eternal hell. You have been warned according to Ezekiel 3:17-21. God Almighty has positioned you to enlighten the nation with His truth in good and bad times.
