MBABANE - Thursday’s in the capital city are dedicated to good laughter, vibes and mouthwatering dishes.

Newlife Entertainment, in collaboration with 23:28, are dedicated to giving patrons a great way to kick start their weekend.

Every Thursday, a show dubbed ‘Throwback Nights and Thursday comedy’ hosted by Cybos featuring the award winning comedian Mduduzi ‘Mdura’ Dlamini, always give fun lovers a night to remember for free.

During their last session, Cybos served a chilled set with a touch of old school RnB.

His playlist set the mood as patrons were settling in.

It is worth noting that the edition was also a celebration of ‘Mdura’ who was turning a year older.

Jokes

His jokes were all based on life experiences. One of the jokes that left the audience in stitches was when he shared his experience with a mechanic.

“I once gave my mechanic my car which had a bottle of gin and ice. He said he would be done in two hours (fixing the car), so I decided to leave my cooler box. After four hours I called the guy and his state of sobriety was questionable and my car was jacked. The rest is history,” he said.

He also shared one about his father who is also a mechanic.

“My father fixes tractors only, one becomes reluctant to give him a car to fix because every tractor he fixes doesn’t return fixed but they always tow it,” he said.

It was a jam packed show filled with laughter.

The event ended on a high note with people cheering and some taking pictures.

In an interview with the main act, ‘Mdura’, he expressed his gratitude and assured comedy lovers that there would be more shows with fresh content soon.

“The show was great and I would like to thank everyone who came to support us and we will be having more shows with fresh content. This was our 22nd edition and it has been one great experience,” he said.

Temalangeni Bhembe, who was laughing throughout the show, said she had a great time and was looking forward to the 23rd edition.
