MBABANE – Lets dance!
Sinenhlanhla Hlope has made it to the finals of the South African Dance YoDumo competition.
The competition is hosted by Ntando Duma and currently airs on SABC 1 on Sundays at 6pm.
The 19-year-old professional dancer from Ludzeludze with her group ‘Urban Wave’ are among the finalists in the dance competition.
Dance YoDumo is a high-end, dance reality show currently shooting their first season.
The show started in January, where people who wanted to participate had to enter the competition by sending through a dance audition video.
The production team selected about 120 people and Sinenhlanhla was one of them. put them into six groups and eliminated one person from each group as the weeks went by.
As the competition stands, it has reached the final stage and two groups remain.
The Hip Hop dancer grew up in Randburg South Africa.
She grew up with a passion for dance, then followed her dream and pursued it professionally at 14 years old.
The dancer also has passion for art, film and entertainment, hence she’s doing her first-year at AFDA (Africa Film Drama Art), the South African School of Motion Picture Medium and Live Performance, where she is majoring in Motion Picture Medium.
