M– The XChange Lounge and Shisanyama owner Mxolisi ‘Waxola’ Mabuza said he always to give a helping hand.
He revealed this during the E25 000 social teams sponsorship launch held at the hot hangout spot premises yesterday.
The businessman said the social teams’ organiser Nathi Dlamini approached him over the sponsorship and as a person he accepted it.
“I am a football person as I once served at Manzini Wanderers management committee. Actually am not new to football as I also played social football,” Mabuza said. He also mentioned that he believed in continuity and was hopeful that he would continue sponsoring the social games. “This is a good initiative football and I am happy to be part of it as it helps in networking and job creation,” he said.
He hoped that the teams would protect his brand by practicing fair play during the course of the tournament.
“Such games help in the prevention of crime related activities as most of the time people focus on playing the game,” he said. The games will begin on the fourth day of June on different venues along the Manzini corridor.
THE AFFECTED FIXTURES:
as an office they would welcome the teams’ concerns and take it from there.
He said teams were aware of the protocols to follow when requiring compensation from the relevant stakeholders involved. Meanwhile, the top four teams were excused from playing because they had more than three players in the national team Sihlangu. Royal Leopard and Young Buffaloes have seven players apiece in the squad while Mbabane Highlanders have four and only two from Mbabane Swallows. Worthy of mention is that even the top four teams may claim as some had already set camp nearer to their match venues.
