IDelakufa LoMswati releases single
MBABANE – Grooming artists going up the ladder.
Last month,Maskandi artist Idelakufa LoMswati has released a single titled ‘Uzolala’.
It was released in South Africa, Johannesburg at TAKK STUDIO. This is the same studio where Khuzani and Mthandeni record their albums.
Born Banele Simelane, the 23-yearold hails from Mdzimba.
He is also known as ‘The God Delo’ Delakufa started music in 2018 while doing Form IV at Our Lady of Sorrows at Hluthi.
Constitute
He’s first album was titled ‘Asambeni Bafana’ in November the same year, he started his music journey. It constitute 10 tracks.
In October 2020 he released an Extended Playlist (EP) with 5 tracks titled ‘Wamuhle’.
Last year in October he released another EP which had three tracks titled which performed very well.
He also shot its video which scored him an interview on Eswatini TV. It has been broadcast on EIBS, Pongola FM, Nongoma FM and Ligwalagwala FM.
When reached for comment the Maskandi artist told the Entertainment Desk more about the hit song.
Produced
“I was the one playing the lead guitar on this track, it was produced by Thuthani Ndlovu, JJ played the keyboard and Zuma played the bass guitar,’’ said IDelakufa.
He further went on to say that he was planning to make a music video for his track which is going to be broadcast on 1KZN TV and Eswatini TV.
IDelakufa also have his own clothing brand named “DK LoMswati” established in for giving him a successful company called Eswatini Arts Supper Unity (ESWASU), which he’s signed under since April this year.
Booked
“It’s great working with this company because I get booked more often in big events and the pay is good. ESWASU helped me out to upload my tracks on digital stores. All my tracks are now permanently registered,” he said.
He also thanked his father for supporting him; before he was signed in the company, his father, Nkunzikayihlehli Simelane, he said helped him a lot before he passed away two years ago.
“He was everything to me he also bought for me the guitar I’m using right now”, IDelakufa said.
His role model is Mjikjelwa from South Africa.
His tracks are available on all digital platforms.
