Majozi was born on November 7, 1989 in Mtwalume, South Africa, near Port Shepstone on KwaZulu-Natal’s South Coast. He’s known to many television viewers for his portrayal of ‘Sbu’ on ‘Uzalo’. His ‘sweet and sour’ persona has made him capture the hearts of the lovers of the show. His funny personality coupled with his punch lines has gained him the hearts of the viewers. During the COVID-19 lockdown, the ‘Uzalo’ star used the opportunity it created for him to kick-off his music career. The actor had been longing to try his magic in the music panorama for a while now, but was wary of the piercing glares of the public eye. He released a song which he wrote last year as a COVID-19 awareness song. The title of the song is ‘Nizobona Ngomophu’ translated to ‘you will reap what you sow’. The song received positive feedback from the members of the public. The song received positive feedback from the public, which pushed the actor to work on his debut album. “When COVID-19 started, and we were told to wear masks and stop moving around, but people never took it seriously. The song encourages the public to act responsibly because COVID-19 is serious. I have always wanted to release my music, but I could not because people think you are taking chances when you are a TV star. They don’t think you are talented. Music has always been part of my life, and I started singing while I was doing theatre,” said the actor.
