DJ Cup celebration bringing the heat
MBABANE – DJ Cup will release his new single in two weeks’ time.
The release day will be June 19, at his annual ‘PRIME TIME PARTY’ to be held at 23:28 Lounge at Checkers Business Park in Mbabane. The single is titled ‘Overflow’, it features Mvelo on vocals

and Zwile on the saxophone. DJ Cup will be celebrating his birthday in style on the day, as he will be featuring some dope local DJ’s and South African DJ and producer LaTique to entertain his guests.
Zama Maseko aka DJ Cup has been at it for over 10 years now and has performed at countless events in Eswatini, South Africa and Mozamique. DJ Cup specialises in mostly Deep House music. The DJ also has a Deep House Podcast. He’s currently working as Operations Director at New Life Entertainment, a local stable which deals with events, sound hire, models and a recording studio. The DJ has numerous achievements like winning two SWAMAs in 2020 and the same in 2021. Maseko has managed to stay in the Eswatini entertainment headlines consistently for the past few weeks. It is no different this time around as the multi award-winning House music DJ and producer will be sharing the stage with LaTique.

Mfihlakalo Siphesihle Mbanjwa also known as ‘LaTique’ is a young versatile music producer, who specialises in Deep/Tech House music and brings an authentic sound to the Deep House scene. LaTique discovered his music ambitions and skills back in 2012, when his brother Sandile Mbanjwa known as ‘Cilongo’ had a huge influence in having him engage with music as a whole. It all started as a keyboard player at church and he used to love playing around with keys, and would stand beside his brother to learn some tips.
