-

MBABANE – Prophet Elijah Fire apologised to Apostle Justice Dlamini during the meeting at the police headquarters.

The apostle told the court yesterday that Mkhemetelo Mkhatshwa realised that what he had done was wrong and he was convinced that what he said about him was untrue. Dlamini informed the court that Mkhatshwa admitted that what he had done was wrong. “He said he knew me and that I am older than him. He realised that he had done something wrong and he asked to apologise and withdraw what he had said.

“Conference of Churches President (Stephen Masilela) spoke to us and said what had happened was unfortunate and would confuse the world. He asked him to apologise because even the evidence he said he had was not convincing.

“He apologised and I forgave him as a Christian, but the audio seyihambe umhlaba wonkhe (had been disseminated far and wide) and it had confused a lot of people. “I told him that many people, including those in foreign embassies, were asking me about this. ,” said the apostle.

According to Dlamini, Mkhatshwa undertook to apologise publicly and to retract what he had said, as well record another audio clip in which he apologised and post it on Facebook. Mkhatshwa is said to have undertaken to publish the statements in local newspapers, Times of Eswatini and Eswatini Observer on the following Tuesday.
