N digital platforms
on digital platform is how easily these campaigns spread. Whether they are pushing the right or wrong agenda, there is just absolutely no way of stopping them once the ball gets rolling.
'igital platforms have enabled people to be aware of their *od giv en rights and to identify what is right and also what is wrong about the way in which their 6tates oper ate. 8nfortunately, most 6tates see these campaigns as threats to their e[istence as most grievances touch on service delivery as well as their functions.
CAMPAIGNS
We have seen countless incidences where 6tates have been accused of censorship when it comes to such digital campaigns.
Egypt also had its own fair share of accusations pertaining censorship not so long ago, which demonstrates that the new age is potentially be coming a threat to the way in which most governments choose to func tion.
What is unfortunate for most global leaders is that the digital world can not be censored enough, something always eventually sifts through. That its developmental goals, the obli gations on its wallet broaden and increase in total monetary value, thus e[erting pressure on government to diversify and broaden its revenue streams.
EXPENDITURE
Eswatini¶s economy in and the public demands on government e[penditure at that time are totally different to the Eswatini of 2022 and the price tag on the standard of living in this modern time.
Whether government wants to hear
is how most of this censorship was identified anyway, because digital wars are far different from the wars that used to take place in the golden ages.
The difference now is that everyone has access to social media and the internet, therefore, there is absolutely no way anything can stay hidden or be kept under wraps. ,n cases where social issues need to be addressed, people from other countries will always stand in solidarity with the affected countries because the New World 2rder is pushing for a one world, one voice agenda.
This agenda is resulting in people helping one another fight the ills that plague their countries, regardless of the censorship in that country.
The new fight is the digital fight and there is absolutely no way of stopping this kind of fight, because it spreads like wildfire. Therefore, if there are casualties in these wars, someone will have to be held accountable and no amount of censorship will prevent that from happening. The powers that be in international human rights foundations are always on social media, waiting for the ne[t social media campaign to pop up in order to pounce on those involved.
