MATSAPHA – Financial Institutio­ns and the private sector continue to facilitate funding and workshops for business start-ups.

The Likusasa Letfu’s Youth Centre for Employabil­ity in Matsapha will today launch a unique initiative aimed at serving the Eswatini youth. This was mentioned by Programme Director Yael Uzan-Tidhar in a statement yesterday. The director said the launch, which is on World Youth Day, would host a youth panel on the future of the Eswatini youth.

She said they had invited eight panelists to discuss the matter, all in their early 20s.

“The EU ambassador and the director of UNICEF will grace the event with other dignitarie­s from the Education, Labour and Youth ministries, and Business Eswatini,” she said.

The event will take place at the Centre in shop 1, next to FNB in the Matsapha Business Centre property. Worth noting, the centre joins a list of other organisati­ons with the quest to assist the youth in Eswatini mitigate the business sector. About five organisati­ons have in the past six months facilitate­d for financial and business literacy for the youth.

This includes Start-up Business Foundation founded by Wandile Zishwili, the Small Enterprise­s Developmen­t Company (SEDCO) and Enactus.
