Sir,

They say nothing lasts forever; is this really true? I mean can one hold onto something or someone? I don’t know – maybe I was born with a sensitive or questionable mind. I’ve thought things in a different way such that I felt them in such a way. You know, when making a promise to someone, you’re creating some sort of hope to that particular person; and some sort of trust. Basically, more like a bond. So, when you don’t commit to the promise you made, as cliché as it may sound, you’re roughly taking away that pearl of hope, trust.

Closure

People fail to commit to their promises and that’s why the victims are the ones to suffer because they tend to look for closure from the people who don’t care, hence they end up in the wrong hands because one failed to fulfill a promise. So many times life has taught us that it’s unpredictable and people leave us just like snow droplets vanish when the sun rises. After all, that’s why we say life is unpredictable. Why don’t people keep their promises? The world seems to not be a better place to live in. Life owes us nothing yet we never learn, we still think it is a walk in a park.

Decision

Sometimes it’s our decisions that lead us into dilemmas; the feeling that someone cast an evil spell. The sad part is that when making decisions we don’t know that in the end they will bring misery. Therefore, choose happiness over everything, enjoy life to the fullest while it lasts. A philosopher, Rainer Maria Rilke, once alluded; “There are no classes in life for beginners; right away you are always asked to deal with what’s most difficult.”

Hope is what keeps us going; it is what keeps our heads high. Don’t give up on hope because that is where your closure is.
