INSTACASH injects E160k to Shiselweni FA

NHLANGANO – They are just giving an instant lifeline to football. That is the new Mobile Money service provider and new child on the block. INSTACASH which yesterday handed out E160 000 ‘instant cash into the hands’ of Shiselweni Regional Football Association (SRFA).

This is the biggest sponsorship so far INSTACASH has given towards the country’s regional leagues.

The company launched the SRFA sponsorship well after having done same with the Hhohho Regional Football Association (HRFA) and Manzini Regional Football Association (MRFA) last week.

They pumped E130 000 to HRFA and E80 000 to MRFA. SRFA received the highest, which will cater for their 16 promotion league affiliates, each getting E10 000.

“INSTACASH is interested in seeing football growing and developing into greater heights that is why we are investing in it,” the company’s Managing Director (MD) Mandla ‘Cheeks’ Nxumalo said inside the King Sobhuza II Memorial Stadium.

He said they were hopeful that the sponsorship would go a long way in empowering the region and the company as well as going forward. SRFA Chairman Bhekani Khumalo said the sponsorship would go a long mile in taking games forward and encouraged clubs to support INSTACASH to ensure the sponsorship lived on for years to come.

“We thank INSTACASH for coming forward to sponsor our league when sponsors are scarce these days. It is in our hands as teams to maintain this partnership with INSTACASH which has given regional football a good chance to have a lifetime sponsor if we maintain it well,” he said.

He appealed for monopolised support of the company given its gesture towards regional football which usually struggles to find sponsors.

Next week, INSTACASH will be launching

Lubombo Regional Football Association (LRFA) sponsorship. Also, it is not only football that is benefitting from INSTACASH but certain sectors in sports.
