EMCU signs MoU with two universities

TEswatini Medical Christian University (EMCU) yesterday formally signed a three-tire Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) under the African Future Foundation.
The official agreement was virtually held from the different locations, but the focal point was the Kosin University conference room, in South Korea.
The three universities that signed and celebrated the united front are Kosin University, United African University of Tanzania (UAUT) and the EMCU.
EMCU President Paul Seung- Hun Yang, during the MoU signing ceremony between the different universities, said he was grateful for the realisation of the collaborations. He said Eswatini might be a small country but it was under the SADC region where the working conditions between the countries of community worked as a unit.
Yang further shared that EMCU was determined to become the regional centre of spreading the gospel.
“EMCU is aiming to become a medical and Christian gospel hub for Africa,” said Yang.

The Kosin University was represented by its President Byung Soo Lee, Vice President Dong Kwan Jeong, Dean of Planning Sung Jae Kim, Dean of Academic Affairs Hyun Chul Lee, the Dean of Student Welfare Affairs, Aron Bae, and the Dean of International Cooperation, Jeong Ki Lee.

The African Future Foundation was represented by the President, Sang Eun Park, and the Secretary General, Eok Kim. The United African University of Tanzania was represented by its President Ho Chan Hwang.
The EMCU president further shared with their partner universities that Eswatini remained their primary focus because the country was without a medical school in the region.
He said Eswatini had a number of doctors but they remain products of other countries.
President Yang said as a university they were working tirelessly to get their accreditation in a bid to produce local doctors.
He also briefed the local media after the virtual ceremony.
While the local media was also part of the ceremony, Yang said the MoU between the three universities was under the African Future Foundation.
