Local talent shines at Std Bank Luju Festival

-

MBABANE – Oriiginelle, 1hlonipho and DJ Thubillion were among the local performers who proved beyond reasonable doubt that ‘local is lekker’.

The main day of the Standard Bank Luju Food and Lifestyle Festival was an explosion of fun and energy, transferred from the performances on stage to the crowd that was there for all the vibes dished out at the event.

The main aspect that was abundant at the event was the experience to be had from the cook-off to the performances and fashion at the House on Fire at Malandela’s, Malkerns.

The festival has thrived by being a family-friendly outing of culinary exploits, connoisseur-led premium wine and whiskey showcases, fine music, colourful fashion and wholesome entertainment.

INSPIRED

Through culinary showcasing by celebrity chefs, like Somizi, who present a comedy, and high-end fashion designs, inspired by the Luju ethos ‘A Return to the African Future’, the festival celebrates the sophistication and elegance of African vintage style, creative design and delicacies.

&ome and Eat, Sway, Love and rejoice in the heritage and culture, in all its afro-futuristic boldness.
