0aturity is learning to walk away from the people and situations that threaten your peace of mind, self respect, val ues, morals and self worth. 7he truth is everyone is going to hurt you, and for that, you just have to find the ones worth suffering for.

We are teenagers, we’re still learning. $ lot of bad and good things happen, we cheat and criticise. We fight over stupid things and again we fall in love and end up getting hurt. We hate people for no reason. We, as teenagers, lack good mentors, role models and heroes. We are tempted to start unhealthy habits.

7eenagers are constantly under im mense stress and we feel a lot of pressure from peers, parents and society. Person ally, for the past few months, I had a fear of missing out. I asked myself whether I am doing the right thing or not. I asked myself exactly who my friends are, but I found none. I struggled to be with the right people, instead, I elected anger rather than pressure. We follow people who never care about us, instead of fol lowing our dreams and passion.

We follow worthless people with no value. If not fashionable, you are looked down upon and discriminated. 7o be honest, I realised how much I truly appreciate life with every imperfection. I know that I’m still young and I still have a lot to learn. Sometimes, experi ences turn to be lessons. 7ake chances, stay out late and go out with the right person. Stand up for what you think is right. Stay confident and don’t forget to have ama]ing friendships. %last music as loud as you can and remember that the people who judge you are not worth it.

Dear teenagers, always challenge negative thoughts with positive ones. 2ne day all of that is going to pass.
