As promised by Festival 'irector -iggs Thorne in an interview with this publicatio­n to deliver an even bigger and better atmosphere at this year¶s festival, he kept to his words.

The fourth edition of the 6tandard Bank Luju Food and Lifestyle Festival held at +ouse on Fire at 0alkerns, saw the revelers from all around the globe attend, from all ages to enjoy an e[perience of food and fashion. The fashion and food lovers feasted on the ambience and renditions on stage, which were on point. The festival began on Friday and lasted until the early hours of 6unday morning. On the first day Ami Faku proved why she was still one of the most respected artists in the 6outh African 6A industry. 6he took to the stage just after pm and renewed all her hit songs from Angina Mali, Phakade lami, into ingawe. +er performanc­e was cut short by power cut but she still performed two more songs before getting off stage.

6A dance king =akes Bantwini was the last headliner for the first day and performed at midnight for an hour. +e is known for his electrifyi­ng presence on stage, and the artist did not disap- point even one bit.

The theatrics and versatilit­y in the different sections available and the activities that were planned for the day made the event one to remember. On Friday the *alp *arden held the most jaw-dropping showcase at the fashion show that even included hairstyles, which stuck to the theme, +air (volution. The models uniTue looks were done by none other than 6A hair artist, 1ikiwe 'lova. *racing the uniTue, dome-shaped Luju stage as 0&s for the 6tandard Bank Luju Food and Lifestyle Festival were Anele Tshabalala and Phila 'lamini, who were performers in their own rights.

The festival attracted music, food and fashion lovers from all walks of life, who all seemed to have stuck to this year¶s theme which was µ+air (volution¶.

Fashion lovers and food enthusiast embraced food the whole day and night as per the idea behind the concept, which was showcasing and tasting food from the different parts off the world. There were constant long Tueues at the food mall and it was packed until the festival was shut down.

People got to enjoy different meats served in different ways, soups, wraps vegetarian foods, curries and other foods which were being served. On 6aturday the Amphitheat­re housed family, friends and fans of the two PnP Luju cook-off competitio­n finalists -ustina Bain and Akhona µ.ing Terry¶ Bhengu. Bhengu who won the cook-off mentioned that with the pri]e money he would bring back his food business.
