InstaCash’s E120k for Lubombo FA
KALANGA – New player in the money transfer industry InstaCash continues to pump money into the development of local football.
The company managed by Mandla ‘Cheeks’ Nxumalo sponsored 12 leagues under the Lubombo Regional Football Association (LRFA) to atune of E120 000. This transpired during an event graced by the presence of LRFA Chairman Nichodimus ‘Ace’ Mashwama and clubs representatives at KaLanga
Technical Centre Conference Hall in Siteki yesterday. Presenting the sponsorship was Nxumalo, who said the reason they decided to partner with the regional football associations, was to create job opportunities for emaSwati.
Declined
“We were approached by bigger leagues but we declined the proposals, as our target audience are the people in the regions. We want to create new business people after the games,” Nxumalo said.
He said each team from the 12 leagues would select one person to help people register with InstaCash and the four teams with the most number of registered people would play in a one-day tournament. He also said the registration would cost a person E5 and this would also benefit the teams or the individual responsible for the registration process.
Logistics
“Ours is to pump the money and the playing logistics and rules are for you to decide,” he stressed.
Meanwhile, LRFA Chairman Mashwama thanked InstaCash for the sponsorship and promised that they would promote and protect the brand. He further urged teams to register, promote and protect the InstaCash brand. On the other hand, the company has sponsored the other three regional football associations for one-day tournaments.
The first region to get the sponsorship was the Hhohho Regional Football Association (HRFA). The next beneficiaries were Manzini Regional Football Association (MRFA). Also benefitting was the Shiselweni Regional Football Association (SRFA).
