, would liNe to raise a matter that has long NnocNed on the doors of our society a matter that will not go away no matter the amount of hate disposed against it. ,t is not a tale that there e[ists among us the /*%T4, community as a minority group.

A lot has been said about this group which has only tarnished the image of those who identify with it and demonised its very e[istence in our society. ,n some communities people coming from this group are cursed at called names that defame their charac ter and some are subMected to physical abuse. %ut all of this has not been enough to drive away the e[istence of such a group of fellow human beings.

/et it come to the attention of every one that this group has always been there as there is historic evidence enshrined both in religious booNs and basic literature of their e[istence.

Rules

They are human beings after all and are not a different species. The current setting of our rules has not stood up to address decisively on the matter pertaining the rights of the /*%T4, community.

Efforts by local organisations have been made to try and plead inclusive ness and eTual e[istence. ,t should be noted that should the country march into a new dispensation a maMority will determine whether the /*%T4,

&RQFHUQHG FLWL]HQ community is included among e[ist ing groups and its total rights upheld for eTuality. That being said the new dispensation is a glimmer of hope for this long suffering group.

As an active social activist and ad vocate for the said minority group , can assure of a serious possibility of the inclusion of the group to the soci ety with all their rights upheld. This is the e[treme of our activism that such groups find their place in their rightful country of birth with all their rights upheld. 1o one has the moral authority to determine otherwise on the inclusiveness for eTuality of the /*%T4, community.
