Mbabane Golf Club elects new committee

MBABANE – The Mbabane Golf Club has elected a new committee.

The capital city club, which boasts more than three monthly-sponsored tournament, elected their committee at their annual general meeting (AGM) held at the cub premises in Mbabane recently. Notably, all of the members who had served in the previous term were re-elected back in to office, which was a vote of confidence.

The only change in the committee was the addition of new positions. Thabiso Gama who was a member in the previous committee was elected into the position of Secretary. This position was held by Vusie Norman Dlamini, in the old committee. Norman was elected into the Treasurer position, which was held by Vusi Ngcamphala.

Fisiwe Vilane remains the Captain of the club. She has been captain since last year. She took over from Kenneth Nkambule.

EOCGA is the Eswatini Olympic and Commonweal­th Games Associatio­n and is headed by Adam ‘Bomber’ Mthethwa. Vilane also thanked the membership for entrusting her and the committee with such a responsibi­lity again.

She then assured the membership that working with sponsors and all stakeholde­rs, the committee remained committed to working diligently to maintain Mbabane Golf Club as one of the biggest and most attracting golfing locations in the kingdom and beyond.
