For Enactus winners
Having considered all factors required for the successful participation of the team in the Enactus World Cup Competition, the office resorted for the team not to travel because of the following reasons:
The total travelling costs have escalated by 100 per cent (E300 000) from original budget of the event as approved by the Board in 2021.
The team had already acquired international passports but could not go on to process Visa because of financial constraints and that of logistics around
the VISA acquisition.
Enactus Eswatini Marketing and Communications Officer Temalangeni Dlamini said they would issue a press statement this week and asked not to comment further as she highlighted that the matter would now be handled by a Board member.
A guardian to one of the students said this was grossly unfair, stating that Enactus had announced the costs (of travelling to Puerto Rico) after making all the relevant calculations.
“We see them (Enactus) receiving

Why can’t they use it to pay the expenses for travelling? Surely Enactus programmes are centered around the students, what has changed? We are really not happy about it and want to report it to the relevant ministry,” the guardian said.
Recently, Enactus received a donation of E20 000 from the Eswatini Royal Insurance Corporation (ESRIC).
In the Kingdom of Eswatini, Enactus has established 14 teams.
