SIPHOFANEN­I – South African musician Makhadzi will afford her fans a chance to meet and greet her in person.

The meet and greet session will take place in Manzini before her scheduled performanc­e at Wendy’s Lodge tomorrow.

During her visit in the country, Makhadzi will visit two locations.

The first stop will be at Matsapha Prison, where the fans will be given an opportunit­y to take pictures and converse with the artist from noon until 2pm.

After meeting the fans she will then change location to Cardo Square Mall at Ngwane Park near KaZakhali, where she will also allow fans to take pictures and meet her.

At 5pm the artist will head to Wendy’s Lodge to prepare for her performanc­e.

The show will also feature SA artists such as Zanda Zakuza, Mr Brown, Mapara A Jazz, Prince Benza, DJ Obza, Bello No Gallo, DJ Call Me, Korrosive Da MC, M Nation and Immortal7.

Ready

According to Banele Dlamini, who is one of the organisers of the event, they are ready to host Makhadzi at Wendy’s Lodge, and fun lovers should gear up for a good show when coming to the venue. “We have already put everything in place, with the entrance road cleared to ensure that fun lovers travel safely and easily access the place.

“Parking will be done outside the venue as we have booked a farm where fun lovers will have ample space to park their cars.

“Security is guaranteed while fun lovers are at the venue, we ensure their safety. On another note, Makhadzi will perform all her songs during the show, and her performanc­e is slated to last for two hours,” Dlamini said.

Born Ndivhudzan­nyi Ralivhona, known by her stage name Makhadzi, she was born and raised in Ha-Mashamba, Limpopo, she is best known for her songs ‘Tshanda Vhuya’ and ‘Matorokisi’.

Makhadzi’s 2020 album Kokovha became one of her biggest successes and debuted at number one on the South African iTunes albums charts.

It contained the chart-topping singles ‘Amadoda’, ‘Mphemphe’, ‘Kokovha’ and

‘Tshikwama’.

Her career started at the age of 12, when she used to perform at taxi ranks, getting money from people’s offerings. In 2019, Makhadzi was featured by Master KG on a song titled

‘Tshikwama’,

released from the album ‘Jerusalema’.
