7his adage rings true for Nhlonipho Dlamini, singer, songwriter and mu sic producer who in the past weeks, made waves with his blossoming career through his hustle over the years at the city of gold.
&urrently based in Johannesburg making music, the µ/ife I *ot¶ hitmaker continues to set trends. +e recently dropped a single titled ‘Yithi Sonkhe’ featuring A% &razy which has been set ting online music streaming platforms alight.
News of his feature with A% &razy surfaced on the artists¶ posts on social media, where they shared a snap together while in studio. 7he news of the artist being in studio with the king of Afro 6oul, =akes %antwini, was widely wel comed and mes sages of congratulations poured in.
In a telephonic interview with this publication, Dlamini confirmed be ing in studio with the 6outh African Album of the +e went on to add that it was a great e[perience as he got to learn how important it is to stay true to who you are including preserving culture through music. +e further shared how he got studio time with A% &razy, and how he was becoming diverse in the collaborations that he was getting. +aving signed under one of 6A¶s biggest record label companies which is independent, his publisher also confirmed that Nhlonipho was in studio with =akes %antwini but could not comment any further. %orn =akhele 0adida, =akes %antwini was born and raised in 6A .wa0ashu ) 6ection in the province of .wa=ulu Natal.
