Give us new pool champs – Dixie’s
ZULWINI – Last season is now history in as far as the Dixie’s International Pool Tournaments under the Manzini Regional Pool Association (MRPA) are concerned.
Cash prizes were the order of the day at the Mdzimba View as winning teams and individuals were yesterday presented their prizes alongside silverware in the form of medals and trophies.
Royal Eswatini Police Service (REPS) Pool Club dominated the awards as they were given E7 000 for their league championship, E4 000 for the knockout title while their youngster Khanyo Simelane won E150 for Player of the Season, while Correctional Services were presented with E4 000 and silver medals as league runners-up with Way Inn who finished third taking home E3 000 and bronze medals.
Runners-up in the knockout Bhunya Pool Team pocketed E3 000 and silver medals. REPS won the league even in the previous season while they were runners-up in the knockout.

He appealed to the other clubs to increase the level of competition to also enjoy the prizes next time.
“Otherwise the sponsor sent me to stay that
