N– A teacher is working in fear at Nkhaba High School while another was allegedly forced to resign also out of fear.
The teacher is said to have been assaulted while within the school premises by pupils.
It is alleged that some of the teachers are now working in fear of being attacked within the school which is situated around Nkhaba, under Nkhaba Inkhundla.
*Jomo, the teacher who was attacked, is said to have been trying to protect a pupil who was also being targeted by about three pupils. It is alleged that the pupils were carrying a bag.
Jomo is said to have noticed that and while the pupils were allegedly attacking another pupil, he tried to intervene. It is alleged that Jomo held on to a bag that one of the pupils feared contained a weapon that could have been used to attack the pupil.

When Jomo had allegedly fallen, the pupils allegedly assaulted him with kicks and fists all over the body but he continued to hold on to the bag. As the assault intensified, two other teachers are said to have arrived to stop the alleged assault.
Jomo is said to have reported the assault to the Mbabane Police Station. It is also alleged that when the assault happened, police officers arrived at the school and that some weapons were confiscated.
Jomo was also reached for comment on the matter but he stated that he had reported the incident to the police.
