MBABANE – Fresh from a gallant 11-0 victory over Southern Divas last weekend, defending champions Young Buffaloes Ladies target is cementing their pole position on the log when they meet Big Bend Ladies in their next fixture.

They are booked for the first match to be staged at Ecinisweni Sports Ground on Saturday. Kick-off time is at noon.

They are sitting on position one of the log table with 24 points, with eight wins from all games played this season. Big Bend Ladies, on the other hand, are at the basement of the league without a point, in all their eight games and will be looking at the fixture as a possible start for them to get points in the season.

Callies Happy Girls will host Manzini Wanderers at Tambankulu Stadium, while Shiselweni Roses welcome Shiselwenibased side Nsingizini Hotspurs in their backyard at King Sobhuza II Memorial Stadium on Sunday. Placed second on the table, Mbabane Swallows will jump to 20 points if they maintain their winning streak as they were drawn against Southern Divas. Both teams won 3-1 over the past weekend, beating Royal Leopard and Shiselweni Roses, respectively.

“Games will continue this weekend and we really urge fans to conduct themselves well in the stadiums. The use of alcohol is still prohibited,” said Eswatini Women’s Football Association (EWFA) Chief Operations Officer (COO) Ntandoyenkosi Hlatjwayo.
