Sir,

Lord Jesus Christ I am a sinner, I was born a sinner and I was born in a family of sinners. I continued to sin and I continued to live in sin. But from today I accept Jesus Christ as my Lord and Saviour, as the king of my life and as the author and finisher of my life. I repent of all my sins.

Jesus Christ wash my sins with your blood, which gashed forth at Calvary. By the stripes of Jesus Christ I am already healed from any illnesses and I receive the new life in Jesus Christ and from today I begin to live a new life. 2 Corinthians 5: 17 says; “Therefore, if anyone is in Christ, he is a new creation. The old has passed away; behold, the new has come.” This declaration is the first step into taking one of the most amazingly, challenging paths in life. It is realising the problem and taking a step towards eternal life, through accepting Christ and having your life being completely changed. It is having your foundation firmly rooted in Him.

Information

The kind of information you acquire in this stage of the journey will determine how quickly you will grow spiritually and how strong you will stand in the day of visitation. It will determine your ability to stand in faith, your perseverance during challenges, your triumph in spiritual battles as well as your joy in achievements.

Habits are deliberate or non-deliberate actions that have been incorporated in a person’s life in a continually visible way within or after a certain period. Such habits are sinful and some are not so sinful; some habits are very easy to break loose from and some require divine intervention to loosen a person’s life. The Lord then says; “The time of ignorance I overlooked but now I require everyone everywhere to repent.”

This means that repentance is along the way in the process of living a spiritual life in Christ. Let’s all look across towards Jesus Christ and decide to follow Him. It still stands that a continual way is ahead, so hold on.
