1st Finance gives cash to clients

MBABANE – First Finance Company is giving back E72 000 over six weeks to 18 clients as part of its BackTo-School 2023 promotion.

This is meant to ease the burden of school fees and to support its clients to meet their needs and achieve their aspiration­s.

In the promotion, which was officially launched on January 23, the company is giving cashback worth E4 000 per branch per week to ease the burden of school fees and other sundry bills that comes with the resumption of a new academic term on parents and students.

The promotion will run for six weeks. Yesterday, First Finance gave back E24 000 to six winners for the first and second week of the promotion. This means that each of the six

One of the winners, a retiree Hlatshwako Vailinah Matubu, thanked First Finance for the sheer surprise. She borrowed money to pay tuition fees for her child.

Another winner, Dlamini Sipho Martin also thanked the company for the opportunit­y to win cashback.

“I received a call and at first I thought it was a scam when I was informed that I have won. Now that I am here, I can see that this is not a scam. This money comes at a time this is marred by economic challenges and it will have a huge impact on our households. We are struggling to take our children back to school in light of the ongoing economic challenges.

First Finance General Thulani Dlamini congratula­ted all the winners. He said the Back-To-School promotion underscore­d the company’s principle of responsibl­e lending and was also in line with their new Strategic Plan 2022-2027, which among other things prioritise­d improving customer experience.

“We launched this campaign to ease the burden of school fees and to support our clients to meet their needs and achieve their aspiration­s. Every child deserves better education, and as they are now back in class, we are helping our clients who need that extra support,” he said.

We will continue working hard to simplify our customer journey so that our clients can benefit most from simple, efficient, and convenient processes. We will continue to review and revolve to keep our customer journey as simple as possible,” he further stated.

To stand a chance to win a share of the E72 000 cashback, all that First Finance customers need to do is to apply for a general-purpose loan or rollover from any of the three First Finance branches in Mbabane, Manzini, and Nhlangano. The offer is available to salaried employees of government, parastatal­s, and selected private companies.
