EDITOR’S NOTE...

- BY NOMBUSO DLAMINI

HI loves, I hope everyone reading this is well and healthy and all the despairs of the world haven’t gotten you down. It has been an interesting week from my side and I don’t even know what to speak of first. So in just one week, the entertainment industry and the whole nation lost a sensation, multi-award winning Gospel artist to death. I’m speaking about the passing of Mayibongwe the wife of the Archbishop Bheki Lukhele. She was a very humble and passionate artist who left this earth giving back as a primary school educator; I do pass my condolences to her family, friends and industry associates.

In the same light, I broke a story about the resignation of ACAESWA president, Phetsile Masilela. I have had the privilege of working and covering shows that Masilela was part of and I can tell you rent free that the association’s cry is not in vain. She is a very assertive and well-spoken woman and was a great leader.

Masilela was also part of the forming and the grooming of the Lillies Mass Choir, which is a group of young and talented girls from all parts of Eswatini. I know what you may be thinking, what’s up with the sad news but in times of loss and despair is when people need each other the most. With all that I have said there is a lot of light at the end of this section through the amazing features that I have for you this week. We are still in the month of love and nothing can beat celebrating the greatest feeling in the world.

So this week we are doing a bit of reflecting, but in the best way possible, we are looking into self-love. Actually on February 13 the whole world celebrates the act of self-love and its coincidentally the day before Valentine’s Day, but before I spoil it, read more on page two and three.

We still have the Hook-Up Corner for all you singletons looking for your soulmate this love month. Still in the midst of love and everything rosy, a very talented poet took his time to craft a few love poems and if you haven’t found the right card for him or her, then page four has got something for you.

This love theme has so much in store because we don’t cut it there, ow no, page eight and nine have more love features for you to enjoy.
