Eskae Amigo born Skhumbuzo Motsa is another local artist who has made a move to SA, he has spent over five years in the rainbow nation. He shared how his stay has been, as well as reasons for his move to the neighborin­g country. “Well my stay has been full of ups and down, wins and losses. However, I have managed to work my way up from the bottom to where I am, and right now I’m not complainin­g. Currently I’m actually enjoying my stay here because it has landed me in front of different people and opportunit­ies that I reach for every day, opportunit­ies I may not have got in the same manner back home,” Eskae said.

The artist went on to say that the industry that side is at a more advanced stage than in Eswatini, which has landed him in different spaces at a provincial level, and a national level. The artist went on to say that the opportunit­ies and spaces that have been afforded to him continue to greatly impact the growth of his brand on a bigger scale than would have been the case at home.

“There is a lot of informatio­n about the industry which I’m able to access first hand, which helps me develop my brand and align it with the mainstream industry. Funny enough, I never planned to come here.
