- BY MELUSI MKHABELA

LOBAMBA – Big Game Parks has announced Lactalis Eswatini (formerly named Parmalat) as a new title sponsor for the ResolutionRun23.

This is a great event that can double as a corporate team building opportunity. It will be staged on Saturday at Mlilwane Wildlfe Sanctuary.

“For us at Lactalis we thrive on challenges, so this is the type of event for us to get involved in. More than that, it is also an opportunity for us to support conservation on our home ground; create awareness for conservation and sustainability in our communities.

“These elements are a part of our culture in the #lactalisexperience” said Lucky Phiri, who is the Trade Marketing Officer.

#ResolutionRun23 organisers expressed their appreciation on the support they have received so far. This includes monetary sponsor, water point and merchandise. They said they were happy to have all sponsors on board.

Collecting

Registration will be done tomorrow at Mlilwane Esangweni Gate from 3pm to 7pm for those collecting their race numbers and goodie bags.

Registration will still be open from 4am on race day. Registration for each race will be closed 30 minutes before each event.

The organisers managed to secure seven water tables to make sure runners are well hydrated, as they tackle Eswatini’s outdoor ‘lover’s paradise’, which is Mlilwane Wildlife Sanctuary.

The organisers shared that they were looking forward to having a good turnover this year and hope the weather will be favourable.

There’s a new prize category. The biggest team will receive a gift from Mlilwane, which will be a hog on a spit enjoyed at the camp!

Groups are encouraged to enter in numbers. Prizes will range from money, accommodation, pants and meals, among others.
