The pupils said one of the highlights of their day was to be in the same space with Their Majesties and also how they got to rub shoulders with ministers and Members of Parliament ( MPs) Simisa from KaBoyce said inasmuch as she was excited, she took note of key points from His Majesty King Mswati III’s speech.
“I am curious to explore projects that can be funded through the Youth Fund that the King spoke about. I guess the fund can assist the country in decreasing the escalating problem of youth unemployment in the country,” said Simisa.
She also mentioned that she learnt nothing new, as it was the first time to hear and understand that Eswatini was one of the top developing countries, despite the challenges the country faced with COVID- 19 and the political unrest. It’s worth noting that Eswatini’s economic growth was 4.1% in 2021 despite the slowdown in global growth and rising inflation.
Dalingcebo said he was amused with the parliamentary protocols and work of Parliament. He said the exposure to the unique environment has certainly made him more aware of the parliamentary duties.
