Currency took to social media the past week to announce that he has new music for fans. It’s fresh out of the oven and the song is titled ‘ Hamba ngedvwa’. The visuals are currently getting traction on the inform a t i o n h i g h - way esp e c i a l l y on YouTube where the song is currently sitting on 1 051 views having been dropped four days ago. The artist was nodded by local finest DJ Mistosoul after he appeared wearing his merchandis­e on the video.

Since the ‘ Lemons, ( lemonade) hitmaker was shot, more people have been showing love for the slain artist. AKA also known as Supa Mega was shot in Durban and a memorial for him was held yesterday at Sandton Convention Centre, north of Johannesbu­rg. Several tributes for the artist were noticed on the informatio­n highway and this included fine artist Rasta’s portrait tribute which captured most social media users’ attention. It is also worth mentioning that AKA new album dubbed ‘ Mass Country’ will also be released on February 24, as of now one song has been released from the album and it is titled ‘ Company’. In this song Burna Boy breaks his silence on the death of Supa Mega, and most of all he addresses their strong friendship.

King of Amapiano Kabelo Motha popularly known by his stage name Kabza De Small announced on social media that he will be releasing an extended playlist ( EP) with versatile singer Ami Faku. The last collaborat­ion between the pair was in 2021 in the hitsong ‘ Abalele’. This was a successful project for these giant musicians as it recently raked over 13 million streams on
